“ I came for brunch with a group of friends and it did not disappoint. 5.00 bloody Marys - can't beat that. 25.00 breakfast buffet was great, they had everything from chilaquiles and green chile stew to cinnamon rolls and probably the best croissants I've ever had. The atmosphere was very laid back and quiet. The service was absolutely amazing. I look forward to coming back. ”

“ Saturday. 5/17/2025 @ 6:45PM. Party of two. 1st time as Guests to this "Old Town District" location of D.H. Lescombes restaurant in Albuquerque (NM). NOT difficult to locate this eatery while driving in traffic. Parking, this evening, was available and well maintained. Reception Staff was Professional and Courteous. Seated us right at the Reservation time, too! Not much space in the Waiting Area, tho'. Our Super Server, "Stephanie", was menu-knowledgeable, attentive and even friendly! We both enjoyed her personality and her customer service skillset! We, also, got visited by two different Managers during our meal, asking if we were enjoying our visit to DHL. Impressive! We ordered the much talked about Bistro Burger and the (*NEW*) Homemade Lasagna! BOTH menu items were as delicious as they looked! We, also, tried a sampling of their Wine of the Day, "6•3•1• Signature Cab-Sangio". Niiice! Very enjoyable outing at this D. H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro! Five Stars! BTW..there was a *LIVE* Band performing on the venue's westside Outdoor Dining Section that sounded like FUN! ”

“ If you want great servers from the moment you walked in till the moment you leave. This will be the place to go to very friendly, very attempting, Our server was amazing, she was friendly, she knew her menu We tried the wine very unique not too strong not to punchy very mellow but gray flavor. The food was on point, flavor was amazing atmosphere was very relaxing a great way to finish a day.The charcuterie board was perfect to start the fruit very tasty,Cheese's were incredible not to punchy they complimented the meats. Calamari was on point not chewy at all just perfect. Are dishes where may fresh, great flavor, the temperature was on point even though that we were there an hour and a half before they close they took care of us like we were the first customer of the day. ”

“ What an excellent place for wine and delicious food! I was impressed by the staff and the food. The staff was so friendly and Ben, our server, did an excellent job serving us and providing us with great recommendations. I loved that the food options were paired with a recommended wine choice. I got a wine flight that aligned with my dinner choice and it was excellent. I chose the Pasta New Mexico for dinner and it was incredible! It was so delicious and DID pair well with my heritage flight of wine. Great aesthetics in the restaurant. I loved the art and decor around the restaurant as well. All in all, it was so great and I highly recommend it! ”

I have no complaints except for the venue itself was a little loud; might not be great for those who are hard of hearing. Otherwise I absolutely recommend. ”

“ It was a lovely evening and we had the pleasure of having Aaron as our waiter. His service was excellent and his recommendations were also great. The food was excellent! Had live music out in the patio, which we loved. Good times! Thank you! Violinist was Rachel Kelli. She also has a beautiful voice. ”

“ I had one of the best drinks I've had in a long time here. I know it's a winery, but I'm more of a whiskey drinker and I was glad to find a cocktail that suited me here. I'm sure it had sugar too but it seemed to have the best of my options- low sugar is what I need. Sat at the bar for a while and then had dinner. The service was friendly and great but not overbearing. The staff made sure the steak was cooked to perfection. My drinks never ran out. I was still able to visit with my company while getting great service and not being interrupted. The lights are slightly too bright in here in certain areas and I have had creme brulee all over the United States, however, unfortunately this was the worst one. Not sure what happened here and how they the missed the mark. The texture was very off-putting, (off-pudding?? ). It was floury and almost tapioca like. Not sure, but couldn't finish it. Didn't ruin the night and everything else was excellent. ”

“ My rating is more like a 4.7 My only complaint is that there were plenty of tables available in the dining room, yet I still had to wait to be sat for nearly ten minutes. Uncalled for. Regardless, I had a good experience overall, and my server Sofie was absolutely amazing! She was on top of it and had an awesome personality! She took the time for a little bit of conversation, but not too much that would take from the service of others... The food was very good, in my opinion. I started out with the calamari since I knew that I was having a seafood type entree... Was a good portion, and two could probably share. It was cooked just right, the breading had a nice texture and the calamari was very flavorful. For my entree, I had the spicy seafood carbonara. It was just spicy enough but not too much to where you couldn't enjoy it. The noodles were not over or under cooked, which is something you might see at certain other places. Also, there was plenty of seafood (oysters, shrimp, scallops, etc...) to go with the noodles. The place is a little pricey, but the portions are large. The ticket was around 65 I gave 15 for a tip. Another thing, the place was not too busy when I was dining there, but it seemed like there was plenty of help to serve a full house. They have a great selection of wine for you wine connoisseurs out there. And the place is somewhat laid back and clean. Hope this helps. ”
